Re: Shooting car interior

A fisheye that gives a circular image will waste lots of pixels on your sensor. However, the benefit of not having to take a zenith image could be significant. So, it all depends on how much resolution do you need for the final panorama. But will there be any difference in the geometry of the image ...

Re: Shooting car interior

Hello, 1. You can place the tripod inside or outside. Both methods work, but one is easier than the other :) Ideally, you would use an external tripod with a long boom arm and a counterweight. You should probably build it yourself, it will be cheaper. Something like this: http://i.imgur.com/QFKP9i8....

Re: Rokinon 8mm f3.5 Aspherical Fisheye Lens

Hi, It looks like a good budget lens ;) You could also try shooting just 4 images instead of 6. The coverage will be similar, but check if the image quality degrades. It's generally better to shoot the minimum number of images you can get away with ... for more speed, less storage space (especially ...

Re: Panosaurus 2.0

Hi Scott, Welcome to the forum ! The Panosaurus 2.0 looks great for its price range. If you want to shot a better nadir image maybe you can improvise something :) ... check out this link: http://shop.howtoshoot360.com/products/nadir-adapter-for-nn3-nn4-nn5-f9125 ... or you can unscrew the thumbscrew...

I learned my lesson, now I backup everything myself and I won't rely on the backups of the hosting provider. :)
